All our rooms (three of which are dog-friendly) are beautifully decorated, and include television, unlimited free WiFi, hairdryer, kettle with tea, coffee and treats. All bathrooms are ensuite with top-quality Burlington fittings, rain showers and luxurious Bramley natural bath and body products. An iron and board are available on request, and all room bookings come with breakfast provided.

The Oak Lodge

Arrival & Departure

Check in is from 3pm on day of arrival. The pub is open from 11am each day so should you arrive early your bags can be held in reception until your room is available, and if it is available then by all means you are welcome to check in early.

Check out is by 11am on the day of departure. Should you require a later check out time at 1pm then an additional £25 will apply.

Cancellation Policy

In the event, you need to cancel your booking we request that you kindly give us at least five working days’ notice to ensure a full refund of your deposit.

During peak periods, such as Christmas, high summer season, bank holiday weekends or local festivals and events then we require up to 10 working day’s cancellation notice and any circumstances that apply to your booking can be discussed in advance.

Parking

The Royal Oak residents and patrons' car park is situated directly behind the pub. If you have lots of luggage, drop it off outside the pub first and let us help you in and you may park up after you have unloaded.

Additional Beds

Oak Lodge and Garden Room residents.
All rooms are set for double occupancy, certain rooms such as the Oak Lodge with its mezzanine twin beds and the Garden Room with a deluxe sofa/bed, are able to accommodate additional guests at a rate of £30 per person per night.

Accessibility

The Garden Room is our accessible room on the ground floor offering wheelchair access. If you wish to enquire more about our facilities and suitability of access throughout the building and grounds, then please call to discuss so we can meet your needs for dining and socialising in comfort. We also have one accessible toilet with additional baby changing facilities in the pub itself.

Getting Here

By Car
Going through some beautiful cotswold scenery from all directions, we are accessible just off the A4333 running through Tetbury, or via the B4014 or A4135.

By Train
The nearest train station is Kemble, approximately a 20 minute taxi ride away. We recommend booking in advance with: Express Taxis on 07858 450098, or Cirencester Taxi 247 on 07735 602648.

Breakfast

We offer a full English, a Big Veggie or Vegan Breakfast. Breakfast is included in your room price and is served daily between 8:30 - 10:00.

Dogs

We are a dog-friendly and dog-loving pub with rooms and we do not charge an extra tariff for dog stay-overs. Our three ground floor rooms are all dog-friendly so please inform us should you wish to bring your furry friend. Dogs are welcome in the ground floor level of the pub, but not upstairs in the dining room. If your dog is a little bit naughty, please keep him/her on a lead in public areas. We are fortunate that there is a small copse and a lovely walk starting right by the pub.
